The YESS Training Modules have been created to explain the YESS Standard for Spinning Mills and the corresponding assessment activities, and prepare a spinning mill for a YESS assessment.

It is recommended that spinning mills preparing to go through a YESS assessment for the first time take the following steps:

• Watch the first two training modules (Intro and Year 1) and take the corresponding quizzes to test comprehension (the Year 2 module can be viewed after the first assessment has occurred)

• Download the Introduction to the YESS Standards and read it (5 pages)

• Download the YESS Standard for Spinning Mills and note how the documents located in Resources are referenced within the YESS Standard

• Print out resource #1: YESS Standard Review Checklist, and use it as a guide to prepare for the first YESS assessment by reading the YESS Standard thoroughly and filling out all of the corresponding checklists located in Resources
